Closing in on the end of the year.

So I finally got myself a second job, and that's going fairly well, so having a bit of extra income for the next month or two is nice. I actually got offered an interview for a third job yesterday (I wish they would've gotten back to me sooner) so I should hopefully be quite busy this holiday season. Speaking of the holiday season, it's only mid November and finding parking at stores is already a hot mess. Parking is just hell when you work at an outlet mall...

I finally got the majority of my college stuff out of the way this week as well. All I need to do now is make sure the school gets my portfolio, but I'm currently waiting to hear back regarding how I'm supposed to submit it. I hope they take it digitally online like Ringling does, or at least via a DVD or something. I really don't want to go through the trouble of safely mailing it over to Columbus... At any rate, it feels good being able to get the majority of that out of the way. Here's a couple more of the works I will be submitting with my portfolio.

    You are so crazy to get a second job. I could never find the time to balance both!

    I love that you posted pictures! My favorite one is the tree. I'm all kinds of excited for you going to school. Srsly. :)

    I almost got a third job too, but I missed my window on that by like a day! Oh well. I'm not working too many hours anyway, just whatever I can get right now, really.

    And as for being accepted, I don't know yet, I'm afraid. There's so much stuff that I needed to submit, and I've been knocking one or two out every day for since last week, but I still have 2 more things to go. I should hopefully get them done tonight, and then it's just a matter of awaiting a response.

    I've been thinking about trying to get a second job as well. I am getting decent hours at my job now, but after the holiday season, I'm sure we aren't going to have much business, meaning less hours/money. So, I hope I can pick up something else, too!

    And good luck with your school situation. Both of those pieces are great. I especially like the colors used in the top one.
    I hope I just demonstrated my master critiquing skills, haha. Really though, good job.

    Good luck with that Sara, job hunting sucks here! It literally took me like 2 months to get a second job... Maybe you can still squeeze into something as seasonal and impress management enough to stick around?

    Your critique is about on par with what I'd expect from a fellow AiP student... HEYO.

    KIDDING THOUGH. You're one of a few exceptions to the rule when it comes to people from AiP, haha. Thanks!
